Water Update 4/7/15
/According to town manager Rich Svec, the excessive demand for municipal water has ceased and water levels have returned to normal. Part of this would be due to the slowing down of the ski season and the extra usage by visitors. At least one property was found to have a broken water pipe, which has now been repaired. The town began water testing yesterday (Monday April 6) and it will take 3 days of water testing before the "boil water" notice can be lifted.
Note: At no time has the town's water supply tested positive for coliform.
If you wish to receive town notifications about the water, please send an e-mail to cavendishwaternotices@cavendishvt.org with "subscribe" in the subject heading.
As soon as we know the boil water notice has been lifted, Cavendish Connects will post this information to Facebook, Blog and the Cavendish Update.
