Warning for Cavendish Fire District 1-April 7

The legal voters of Cavendish Fire District # 1 (Proctorsville) are hereby notified and warned to meet in the Proctorsville Fire Hall in said district, Tuesday evening, April 7, 2015 at 7 pm to act on the following articles:

Article 1: To hear and act on the Auditor's Report

Article 2: To choose and elect all officers at the Annual Meeting as follows:

• Moderator-One Year Term

• Prudential Committee- One for a term of three (3) years

• Treasurer, One year term

• Clerk-One Year Term

• Collector of Taxes-One Year Term

Article 3: To see if the District voters will vote to raise money for the purpose of defraying expenses for the Fiscal Period ensuing, and how much.

Article 4: To see if the District will authorize the Prudential Committee to borrow money from time to time to pay expenses of the District, if necessary.

Article 5: To see if the District will authorize the Prudential Committee to replace the 29 year old support unit, which is in need of many repairs to keep it running, with a new support unit truck, at a cost not to exceed $160,000.

Article 6: To do any other business necessary and proper at said meeting.
