1. CAVENDISH/LUDLOW COMMUNITY FORUM: A research team based at Dartmouth College and Colorado School of Mines is working with the communities of Cavendish and Ludlow to better understand their flood experiences and to assist in helping where possible. On June 28th, there will be a Ludlow/Cavendish Community Meeting at the Ludlow Community Center (37 Main St.) from 4-7 pm. This is a time to reconnect with friends and neighbors and share our stories and insights. We each have our own flood experiences and by sharing them we can be better prepared.
Food, childcare and a $10 Visa gift card will be available for those attending.
The Dartmouth program has been helping Cavendish deal with culverts and as a result, we’re working to develop a Culvert Crawlers program. Students will be back checking culverts in July.
