• Use of the town office for the newly formed GOP’s monthly meeting with back up space available at the fire departments.

• Holding a Public Hearing on the Town Plan Enhanced Energy Chapter prior to the April SB meeting

• Establishing a Cavendish Cannabis Control Board, which will be the Cavendish SB.

• Issuing a Town Parcel Map Update, cost $28,400, using ARPA Funds. The map was last updated in 2009.

• Moving the Town Informational Meeting (Town Meeting Day) to the Saturday before voting.

• Implementing a distribution of E-911 addresses, using the same method that occurred eight or more years ago. Those interested in addresses would purchase them from the town, which could then be installed by the fire departments. Note-More information will be provided when the program is ready to launch.

Discussed

• Short Term Rental Planning Commission Findings: The Planning Commission does not recommend doing anything at this time.  Issues in other towns don’t necessarily reflect what’s happening in Cavendish.  This is a very complex issue and some of the measures tried by other towns do not appear to be working

• Greven Field: In addition to July, the field has flooded twice since then. Consequently, baseball will take place in Ludlow (Dorsey Park and former high school fields) and possibly the use of Fletcher Fields for T Ball. This will be on the April SB meeting agenda.

• Budget Committee: No one is currently serving on the town’s Budget Committee. Town manager, Rick Chambers, said Budget Committees are very helpful and would like to see this reinstated. The Committee would start meeting in September to prepare for the first of the year SB budget planning. If interested in serving on this committee, contact the town office 802-226-7291

• Roads: Roads are starting to dry out and the Highway Dept is hard at work in repairing them. At the April meeting, Chambers will have more information on the paving schedule.

• ARPA Funds: To be discussed at the April meeting

2. CAVENDISH SUMMER CONCERT SERIES: All concerts are free and open to the public. They begin at 6 pm on the Proctorsville Green. This event is organized by the Cavendish Community and Conservation Association (CCCA). The lineup will be as follows
7/3 Gypsy Reel (Irish band)

7/10 Soul Rockers

7/17 Yankee Chank (Cajun/Zydeco Dance Band)

7/24 East Coast ensemble

7/31 Rick Redington & Tuff Luv (Roots Rock)

8/7 Bear Mountain Boys (Acoustic trio)
