5th Annual Town-Wide Tag Sale
/The 5th Annual town wide tag sale will be held on July 25 (Saturday) from 9 – 3 pm. Sponsored by Cavendish Connects, below is information for vendors and for shopping.
VENDORS
• The sale will be concentrated along Main Street (Route 131), with both village greens available to Cavendish/Proctorsville residents, property owners, businesses and/or community groups.
• Anyone setting up on a village green is responsible for bringing all supplies and removing all trash and items that did not sell by the end of the day.
• Secondary areas will be off High Street in Cavendish Village and Route 103, Twenty Mile Stream and Depot Street in Proctorsville.. We will provide a list of addresses for those vendors who want to set up in these and other parts of town. Those along High Street, Route 103, Twenty Mile or other areas should think about signage.
• The online site for information and vendors will be updated weekly.
• The familiar red poster boards will go up two weeks before the event.

Please note that the more information you can provide about what you have for sale, the more shoppers you will attract.

Cavendish Cub Scouts; once again Henry will be offering his "all things free" sale. There will also be antique furniture, a moving sale and a lot more from various other vendors.

PROCTORSVILLE GREEN
Cavendish Connects booth will be in the gazebo and will have vendor site information along with free cookies; Cavendish Community and Conservation Association (CCCA); Proctorsville Volunteer Fire Dept: BBQ (burgers, hot dogs, peppers and onions, chips and drinks); Fletcher Farms School for the Arts & Crafts; Green Mountain Snow Fleas (will have a groomer set up next to the park); Solarize Makes Sense-You can sign up for a free home solar evaluation; Flippin' Furniture some furniture, but mostly handmade reclaimed wood signs; individual tables. Items to be found from private vendor:James Patterson books, desk, lamps, quilt set, white Christmas tree with stand, holiday decorations, bathroom decor, S&P shakers, vintage butterware, vintage steamer trunk (35" long x 20" wide x 23" tall), archery accessories, arrow fletching jigs, 18th Century Chinese mother-of-pearl gambling tokens, handmade checkbook and debit card holders, antique Ducklow chair; dressers; antiques; lamps; linens; javelin; arts & crafts supplies; license plates (including VT 1966); Tonka toys. Be sure to check out the multi family hay wagon set up between the bottom of the Green and the old mill buildings. Just in, a vendor will have boxed model kits and Life Magazines from the 1950s and 1960s.
