WHERE: Meet at the Cavendish Historical Society Museum.
DESCRIPTION: The tour begins at the Cavendish Village Museum and includes a number of stops along the way. Sites include Museum, War Memorial, Phineas Gage boarding house, Gay Brothers Mill, history of stone buildings including Black River Health Center, Hickernell (and no he’s not buried in the basement), Stone Church (yes you can have a peak) and Spaulding House, the Cavendish Cemetery, the Academy Building (oldest building in Cavendish) and much more. For some reason, a number of these places are suppose to be haunted. This is free and open to the public.
