Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Note that masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the Cavendish Fire Department and the Cavendish Historical Society Museum.

Local Trick or Treating activities:

CAVENDISH VILLAGE (Main St. Route 131)

• 2272 Main St.

• Cavendish Baptist Church: Candy Catapult. Will also have a bathroom for public use. 5-7 pm

• Cavendish Fire Department: An interesting “hand full” of candy 4-7 pm. You can also purchase Gourmet Classics Cookie Dough Tubs. $10 a 2 lb tub. Will receive in time for Thanksgiving.

• 2108 Main St. Bowl on the front porch, no contact, take a handful or 2!

• Cavendish Historical Society Museum: Will be celebrating Halloween and Dia de los Meurtos (Day of the Dead) by expanding the CHS Cares Closet (books, masks, activities, toys, puzzles etc). All free. Special Treat bags for kids. This is a stop for masks and hand sanitizer. 4-7 pm

• 1931 Main St

• 13 Bonts Hill (enter off Main St): Candy is on the porch in bowls.

PROCTORSVILLE VILLAGE

• 562 Main St. Candy toss 4-7 pm

• Proctorsville Fire Dept. 4:30 pm. Chief Glidden invites any locals that are interested, to come to PFD with their vehicles and decorate them and pass out candy in the firehouse parking area. Social Distance required.

• Gethsemane Church (Depot St): At 6:30pm, the path of the labyrinth behind Gethsemane church will be lit with luminaries. Bring a flashlight, wear a mask and make space between you and others. It is there for anyone In the community who wants to use it, anytime.

• 163 Greven Rd: There will be a dog "handing" out candy. Very friendly.
