Once again the Cavendish Historical Society’s (CHS) Annual Plant sale gets underway on June 30 (Saturday) from 9-2 in front of the Museum. There will be the usual perennials of hosta, and other plants, as well our most recent tradition-patio style tomatoes. All you need to do is take them home and enjoy. No transplanting required. We have a wide variety this year -Sweet 100s, Early Girls, Brandywine, Jetsetter, Better Boy, and Roma. You can pre buy tomatoes ($10 a plant) by sending a check to Cavendish Historical Society and mailing to CHS, PO Box 3, Cavendish, VT 05142 There is also going to be lots of basil for sale so all you’ll need to add is some mozzarella to enjoy Caprese salad right into fall.
