Where: Cavendish Historical Society Museum, Main St. Cavendish VT
Description: There will be an approximately 45 minute talk about Phineas Gage, the railroad worker who had a tamping rod pass through his head on Sept. 13, 1848, ushering in a new age of brain science. This will be followed by a walk out to the scene of the accident and other historically related sites. The walk to the site is approximately a mile from the Museum. Please wear appropriate footwear.
