Damage to Heald Rd Bridge, Proctorsville
Tropical Storm Irene struck Cavendish early on Aug. 29, 2011 leaving the town isolated and requiring the need for a shelter. However, with the strong dedication of community, by the end of January 2014, all homeowners were once again back home.
