Jane Hart, an artist who lives part of the year in Proctorsville, has painted various people in Cavendish. Among the portrait subjects are the Glidden family, the Goodmans, George Thomson, the Levens, Audrey Stack, the Churchills, Roxie Davis, Scott Sterns, Mary McCallum and several others. The reception is free, and refreshments will be served.

All are oil paintings, all are framed, and all are for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Proctorsville Volunteer Fire Department and the  Library.
